A Timeless Spring Wedding in Granbury, Texas

As a wedding venue in Granbury, Texas, our favorite thing to see is how couples’ personalities shine through their wedding. Becca and Forest’s timeless spring wedding captured their story perfectly! We were especially enamored with their floral altarpiece and romantic decor. They turned the Diamond A Ranch into their fairytale spring wedding venue.

Getting Ready in the Homestead Quarters

The night before the wedding, Becca and her bridesmaids settled into The Homestead Quarters, our private, on-site accommodations designed for a full wedding weekend experience. She shared with us that having everyone stay together under one roof was a priority when choosing a venue. She wanted the experience to feel personal, connected, and stress-free from the start. On the morning of the wedding, Becca’s father-in-law lovingly prepared breakfast for the group in the large kitchen. Then, the bridal party made their way to our Bridal Casita, a dedicated getting-ready space with four vanity mirrors, soft natural light, and a peaceful atmosphere.

Forest and his groomsmen (and groomslady!) got ready in our Groom’s Quarters, a special building with a pool table, game pit, outdoor kitchen, and swimming pool. The groomsmen looked stunning in black suits, crisp white shirts, and black bow ties, while the groomslady wore a black silk gown.

Wedding Ceremony on the Turf & Reception in the Homestead Saloon

Becca and Forest chose to have their ceremony on the Turf, overlooking the gorgeous Texas hill country. The landscape was rich and green, which allowed the gorgeous floral arrangements by Watson Florals and Design to stand out. Becca and Forest stood in front of a half-moon floral installation and spoke the vows they had written for each other. There was not a dry eye among the guests!

Then, everyone transferred to the reception in the Homestead Saloon. Our reception space truly is a blank canvas, and Becca and Forest took full advantage of the possibilities it held! They lined each table with delicate blooms and pink candlesticks, and the couple chose to keep the patio doors open all night long. This allowed guests to stay inside and dance or enjoy the large patio and big open sky speckled with stars.
