This place was absolutely stunning! It ended up being out of the price range we were looking to spend for our micro-wedding, but we loved it and under different circumstances, probably would have booked it. The bridal casita is literally ideal for getting ready. The views are stunning. The options are many for your ceremony and even for your reception plans. We got married here over the weekend. Venue 10/10. House 10/10. Casita 10/10. Staff 10/10. They/this place honestly couldn't have been any better. Their communication since day one was amazing. Our day of coordinator (Dani) took so much stress away from us. Since our first meeting with her, we felt relived to know that were not in this alone. She lived up to the expectation and then some. We loved this place!   The home was just beautiful and very nicely decorated - the perfect Texas ranch house!   Loved that each bedroom had its own bath and that there were plenty of gathering spaces for our whole family of 16.   The kitchen is a nice size with a good size island, stocked with everything you need to make your own meals, and has two Keirgig coffee makers. The rec room with pool table stayed busy with pool matches and watching games on tv.   And although the home was awesome, the outside was the spectacular.  The panoramic views of the Texas hill country were just stunning - pure beauty wherever you looked.  And the 100 year old oak trees are beyond words all decked out in tiny white lights (very festive and beautiful).   Unfortunately it was too cold and rainy for us to enjoy the pool, but that area is amazing with all there is to do - a full outdoor kitchen with attached covered gathering area, golf putting green, and corn hole set up with plenty of covered and uncovered areas.  This space would be perfect for any large gathering.   Even with the colder weather, we were able to enjoy one of the covered areas with propane heaters and look out on the wonderful view.  The land has a historical cemetery that was so interesting and some trails that you can drive on and others that are just for bikes/walking (ask about the bikes they have there to  rent).  There is also a nice lake for fishing (please note there is an extra fee for this).
It worked out that we could schedule time with the owner, Ali,  to give us a look into their personal farm area, introducing us to her farm animals and way of life.   We got to see a sheep crossing and visit with the horses, chickens, a fat pig, and even a zebra meanders around the property.

We enjoyed our thanksgiving family gathering at Diamond A Ranch and will definitely be going back again.  If you are looking for a quiet rural getaway, this one fits the bill!

If I could give this venue a 10 star rating I would!! It has it ALL!! Cozy, clean and accommodating! Ali and Dani were professional, kind and made our wedding weekend a success!! The property offers beautiful views for any event you’re planning!
