Where Entertainment Matters Most During a Wedding Weekend

From a heated pool to an on-site shooting range, we know how to entertain wedding guests! When you book a wedding weekend at the Diamond A Ranch, you have unlimited access to everything, ensuring that your weekend will be full of fun memories! And after hosting dozens of wedding weekends at our modern countryside venue, we’ve seen where entertainment makes the biggest impact.

Welcome Party

Set the tone for the weekend with something casual and fun. Lawn games, a bonfire, or even a poolside gathering let guests settle in and start mingling right away.

Rehearsal Dinner

You just practiced getting married. For so many couples, this is the moment when it feels real! Make it a celebration, include toasts and extend the evening with games or a night swim! While the meal is the main event, lawn games and live music can keep things relaxed and lively.

Cocktail Hour

Many couples explore the grounds during this time, taking couples portraits. We know how to entertain your guests while you’re taking photos. A few lawn games or a local vendor, like a mobile coffee cart or wine tasting table, make the time fly by. We have many local connections and can find an activity that’s perfect for your guest list!

Farewell Brunch

This will likely be the last time you see all of your favorite people together at the same time. Make the most of it by having a sit-down meal together, playing games, and getting to say goodbye without rushing.

Creative Ways to Entertain Wedding Guests at the Diamond A Ranch

You don’t need to look far for ways to keep your guests engaged. The Diamond A Ranch has plenty of built-in fun for all ages. For outdoor adventurers, we have miles of trails, a lake stocked with bass and blue spotted gill, and a shooting range with a 1000-yard shot for rifles! If you love to be outside but want to keep it more lowkey, check out the putting green, relax by the pool, or sit around the fire and make s’mores!

We also partner with many local vendors to give out-of-town guests a uniquely Texas experience. Past couples have loved the mobile coffee cart and wine tastings from a local vineyard. From ice cream trucks to late-night tacos, our nearby towns also boast several specialty food trucks and unique bar experiences. Not to mention the attractions only fifteen minutes outside the venue, like Granbury Square and the Fossil Rim Wildlife Center. With so much to do on and around our property, you won’t have to worry about how to entertain your wedding guests.

On-Site Lodging

Besides, entertaining your guests gets so much easier when you don’t have to juggle transportation! With on-site lodging, your guests can stay right where the fun is happening. The Homestead Quarters is a 6,000-square-foot house that can sleep up to 18 guests. With terracotta floors, an outdoor kitchen, and a beautiful ranch-style floor plan, the Homestead Quarters feels like home. It’s easier to be present when you can fully unwind in a space that is clean, comfortable, and welcoming.

And if the Homestead Quarters isn’t enough room for you, we also have the Loop House! Just down the road, this spacious ranch-style home sleeps up to 15 guests and offers a private pond and horse facilities. Having everyone nearby means no need for transportation, no stress about timing, and more opportunities to connect — whether that’s a casual coffee in the morning, a game of cornhole in the afternoon, or a late-night chat around the fire.

Wedding Weekend at the Diamond A Ranch

The Diamond A Ranch isn’t just a wedding venue. It’s a home away from home, a space designed to feel peaceful and intentional. Every wedding is an opportunity for us to extend warm and genuine hospitality, welcoming you to the ranch as an extension of our home. We don’t want you to worry about a thing, including how to entertain wedding guests! Every single thing is done for you, so you can show up, unwind, and enjoy getting married!

There were so many activities to choose from, including a putting green, corn hole, horseshoes, and a heated pool. At night, we played guitars around a fire pit and cooked steaks and fajitas on the grill at the outside kitchen. There was tons of open space everywhere with huge live oak trees and an incredible view of the valley. I took a nice walk down a small dirt road at the bottom of the property overlook. The kids had an amazing time and were busy and happy the whole time.
