One of our couple’s favorite things about the Diamond A Ranch is how light and airy it is. While many ranch wedding venues in the Texas Hill Country lean into the dark, rustic charm, the Diamond A Ranch is known for its bright, modern, and comfortable design. This was a selling point for Kailei and Chance, who wanted their wedding to feel comfortable and country while still being airy and fashionable.
Getting Ready with the Wedding Party
Kailei and her bridesmaids got dressed together in our Bridal Casita. The sun streamed through the large windows, bathing the space in golden light that set the tone for their day. Her bridesmaids wore sky-blue pajamas before changing into beige silk dresses. Each girl’s dress had a different neckline, adding individuality and texture to their overall look.
Chance and his groomsmen spent the morning in our Groom’s Quarters, playing pool and reminiscing. Chance, who works for Catalena Hatters, gifted each of his groomsmen a custom cowboy hat! This sentimental touch completed their outfits, which were equal parts elegant and quintessentially Texan.
Ceremony on the Grass Turf
Kailei and Chance were married on the grass turf, overlooking the gorgeous Texas Hill Country. They had a perfect October day for their outdoor ceremony, and the minimal decor, with stunning florals from Fully Flourished and Co., created a beautiful atmosphere. Kailei walked down the aisle on her father’s arm. Every guest was smiling from ear to ear, happy to witness the union of two people so in love!
After the ceremony, Kailei and Chance took portraits around the grounds while their guests enjoyed the cocktail hour. A great perk of our ranch wedding venue is how many diverse spaces there are for portraits! After basking in the golden hour light in the grassy field, the couple rejoined their guests for their reception in the Homestead Saloon. The Saloon is the perfect reception space, with cathedral windows, high ceilings, and enough space for all your loved ones. Midway through the reception, Kailei changed into a white mini dress with all the fringe, partnered with white cowboy boots and a custom hat from Catalena Hatters, of course! Their guests were on the dance floor all night, until Kailei and Chance exited, surrounded by bubbles. Before truly leaving, they looped back to jump into our heated pool!
