Here at the Diamond A Ranch, we love it when a couple comes to us with a strong vision. After attending two previous weddings at our Dallas wedding venue, Blazi had her heart set on getting married here! And we were thrilled to work with her and Sam. To make things even better, Blazi is a close personal friend of Dani, our venue manager! This wedding felt like a natural extension of our heart for hospitality, as we knew many of the guests. We were so happy to host this incredible wedding weekend for such a lovely couple!
A Relaxed Morning at Our Dallas Wedding Venue
Blazi is an expert esthetician with a business in Stephansville. She and her bridesmaids loved getting ready in our spacious, naturally lit Bridal Casita! Blazi’s bridesmaids wore dresses in a shade of deep teal, which complemented the colorful blooms in Blazi’s bouquet and around the venue. Meanwhile, Sam and his groomsmen took advantage of the pool table and relaxed atmosphere of the Groom’s Quarters. The groomsmen wore black jackets, dark jeans, and teal bow ties to match the bridesmaids! And, of course, their favorite cowboy hats.
A Picturesque Ceremony in the Live Oak Grove
The couple came together for a beautiful ceremony in the Live Oak Grove. They said their vows surrounded by their closest friends and family and shaded by the sprawling branches. Blazi looked radiant beneath an arbor framed with florals as she and Sam exchanged rings and shared their first kiss as husband and wife!
After the ceremony, Blazi and Sam took time to explore the most beautiful parts of our 2,000-acre property. While their guests enjoyed cocktail hour, Blazi and Sam soaked in their first hour as newlyweds. They took golden hour portraits in the grassy fields overlooking the Texas Hill Country and explored the stonework near our pool and patio. There are so many beautiful backdrops for portraits, and Blazi and Sam took full advantage of them!
An Energetic Wedding Reception in the Homestead Saloon
Soon after, they joined their guests for dinner and dancing in the Homestead Saloon! With vaulted ceilings and large cathedral windows, the Homestead Saloon is the perfect reception space for weddings of all sizes. Blazi wanted the entire space to feel colorful and lively. We embraced the dark teal of the bridesmaids’ dresses with linen napkins and placed lush floral arrangements on every table.
Blazi and Sam’s wedding party set the tone for the wedding reception with high-energy entrances. After dinner and toasts, the dance floor opened. The bride, groom, and all of their guests spent most of the night dancing, celebrating the most amazing night in style! They only left the dance floor for nighttime portraits around the large letters of their new last name and their iconic sparkler exit.
