Having intentional time with each of your guests, because you don’t feel rushed to pack everything into one day? If that sounds like heaven, you’re in luck! The Diamond A Ranch offers all of that and more. We are committed to making every wedding feel like a true getaway.
What’s Included
Designed for weekend-long celebrations that feel like a destination wedding, our Wedding Experience Package includes exclusive use of the entire venue and accommodations for three nights and four days! Your rental includes tables, chairs, linens, lunch on your wedding day, access to our shooting range (Yes! We have a shooting range!), set-up for your rehearsal dinner, and so much more. Plus, we have great relationships with many local vendors! Many of those have even worked on our property before, making booking from afar a piece of cake.
The Experience
Diamond A Ranch sits on 2000 acres, and the venue sits at the very center of that. This means that you feel completely secluded, able to embrace the beauty of the countryside when you’re really not far from the closest town! There’s nothing but landscapes in every direction. Everything you need is already provided, so once you enter the ranch, there’s no reason to leave. It feels like a restful, rejuvenating weekend vacation. Plus, and we only ever host one event at a time, so you have exclusive access to the ranch and all of its inclusions.
Accommodations
Where will you stay? I’m so glad you asked! We take great pride in providing 5-star accommodations that are in perfect condition. Our on-location lodging, lovingly called the Homestead Quarters, is a 6,000 square foot ranch house. With six bedrooms and seven bathrooms, the Homestead Quarters can hold up to 18 guests. Only a stone’s throw away from the Bridal Casita, Groom’s Quarters, and the Homestead Saloon, the Homestead Quarters is the perfect home-away-from-home for you and your closest friends and family members.
Looking for more space? We have you covered! Just a minute outside of the venue, we have The Loop House, a five-bedroom, three-bathroom home for up to 15 guests. Many of our couples keep the bride’s closest friends and family in the Homestead Quarters and reserve the Loop House for the men. With these two gorgeous properties, the Diamond A Ranch gives you everything you need to host a stunning Texas destination wedding.
Logistics
Believe it or not, logistics are actually simpler when you stay on-site for an entire wedding weekend. When it comes to transportation, you only need transportation to and from the venue. If you or your guests are coming from out of town, you can fly in through DFW International Airport or Love Field Airport. And we have a local transportation service ready to help you get to the venue.
Finding vendors is easy, too, since we have an extensive list of preferred vendors. Our vendors cover everything you could possibly need, ensuring you feel taken care of throughout the whole weekend. And lastly, before you even arrive, we’ve set up all the tables and chairs so you can start decorating!
Use Our In-House Month of Wedding Coordination
To make your wedding day feel effortless and organized, you can add our in-house coordination services to any package. This streamlined month-of coordination option is designed to remove the stress from your final planning phase so you can fully enjoy the experience. We’ll help you build a customized wedding day timeline, communicate with your vendors, and flag any last-minute gaps that could affect the flow of your day. We’ll also attend and lead your rehearsal, walking through the ceremony process so everyone knows exactly what to expect. On wedding day, you’ll have 10 hours of hands-on coordination, including vendor setup oversight, distribution of personal flowers, guidance through the ceremony, speeches, and reception, and help ensuring your personal belongings are safely packed and sent home. From timeline to teardown, we’re here to keep your day calm, smooth, and beautifully on track.
Creating a Quintessentially Texas Destination Wedding Itinerary
If you’re hosting a destination wedding in Texas and really want it to feel like Texas, you have got to serve some barbecue! Texas is the barbecue capital of the world, and we take that title very seriously. We have a list of caterers who specialize in barbecue, so you can get the true Texas experience.
Many destination wedding couples create an itinerary for their guests. We have a great transportation service that can shuttle you from the venue to Granbury, which is only fifteen minutes away. We highly recommend checking out the Fort Worth Stockyards, Granbury Square (for a charming downtown experience with many food options), and Granbury Lake (where you can rent a pontoon and explore the river!).
