An Elegant Outdoor Texas Wedding at the Diamond A Ranch

The best part of our N orth Texas w edding venue is our seamless blend of elegance and Texas charm. No matter what kind of wedding you envision, we can bring it to life at the Diamond A Ranch! Hailey and Layne wanted a timeless, sophisticated outdoor Texas wedding overflowing with gorgeous blooms and lush greenery. And our North Texas wedding venue provided the perfect backdrop to bring their vision to life! Allison at Royal Event Rentals designed an absolutely flawless event, complete with pink and coral florals lining the aisle and reception tables, matching linen napkins at every place setting, and a classic getaway car for our newlyweds.

Getting Ready in The Bridal Casita & Groom’s Quarters

Our dedicated getting-ready spaces are one of our couple’s favorite things about the Diamond A Ranch. Hailey and Layne got ready with their closest friends and family. Despite having a large wedding party, there was more than enough space for everyone. The bridesmaids wore mix-and-match dresses in shades of blush and pink with floral patterns. They looked like springtime as they walked down the aisle before our blooming bride.

Layne and his groomsmen got ready in our Groom’s Quarters, a dedicated hangout space with a built-in bar and pool table! Layne wore a white tuxedo jacket with black trim, allowing him to stand out from his groomsmen in black suits with suspenders and bow ties. The groomsmen enjoyed cigars and beer while they played pool and lounged around in the beautiful May sunshine. Just before the ceremony, Hailey and Layne exchanged private vows. They stood back to back on the porch of the Bridal Casita and held hands as they promised their futures to one another. This intimate moment allowed them to share time together without Layne seeing Hailey before she walked down the aisle.

Outdoor Texas Wedding Ceremony in the Live Oak Grove

Do you want to know another unique aspect of our wedding venue? There are four vastly different locations to choose from for your outdoor Texas wedding ceremony! Hailey and Layne chose to have their ceremony in our live oak grove. This is a shady corner of the property beneath ancient oak trees. Not only do the trees provide a shield from the Texas sun, but they are also beautiful, elegant, and lush with green foliage in the spring.

The aisle was lined with gorgeous flowers that perfectly matched Hailey’s bouquet, and the altar was framed by two upright floral installations that simply took our breath away. Hailey walked down the aisle on her father’s arm, and every guest was smiling from ear to ear. Even Hailey and Layne’s beautiful baby girl slept peacefully throughout the ceremony in a special wagon built just for her. The May weather was perfect, with lots of sunshine and a gentle breeze weaving throughout the oak trees. Hailey and Layne couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day for their outdoor Texas wedding!

Golden Hour Portraits & Reception

After the ceremony, Hailey and Layne snuck away for golden hour portraits around the property. Their portraits are absolutely magical because you can feel just how in love they are. After taking photos, they joined their guests in the Homestead Saloon. With large windows and high ceilings, the Homestead Saloon is the perfect canvas for the wedding reception of your dreams. Hailey and Layne made the space their own with rich floral tablescapes, a custom pink seating chart, personalized napkins, beer cozies, and even water bottle labels!

The newlyweds sat at a head table with their friends and family. The reception was full of laughter and fun, especially after Hailey changed into her second outfit and invited everyone onto the dance floor! Their guests had a blast dancing, talking, and even getting permanent jewelry to remember the event. At the end of the reception, Hailey and Layne left their guests with a sparkling exit, then ended their night with an impromptu dip in the pool! Everything about their wedding was perfect, and we at the Diamond A Ranch were honored to play a part in it.
