Diamond A Ranch has a history that reaches far beyond its life as a wedding venue. The property once served as a stagecoach stop for early Texas settlers, sits along Robinson Creek where Lipan Indians historically traveled, hosted ranch rodeos in the 1990s, and was once home to one of the first registered Texas Brangus herds. That ranching heritage remains part of Diamond A today.
In 2018, Ali Epler and her family extended their family’s ranching roots from Wyoming to Texas when they purchased Diamond A Ranch. Ali returned to the United States to manage the property and establish the wedding venue, and in 2020, the family began welcoming couples and their guests to the ranch for weddings and celebrations.
Today, Diamond A remains an authentic working Texas cattle ranch while also serving as a family-owned, rustic and elegant wedding venue. The ranch combines its history and natural Texas setting with modern event amenities, indoor and outdoor wedding spaces, and on-site lodging. The Saloon

Bridal Casita & Groom’s Suite

More Than a Wedding Day
Diamond A Ranch believes every wedding deserves an entire weekend.
With applicable overnight wedding packages, couples can arrive and settle into the ranch, decorate early without rushing, host their rehearsal and rehearsal dinner on-site, stay overnight with their closest family and friends, enjoy the wedding day, and spend additional time together before checking out.
On-site wedding lodging is available for up to 20 overnight guests between the Homestead House and Bridal Casita, allowing the people closest to the couple to stay together throughout the celebration.
Little Big Celebration, Overnight Diamond Experience, Signature Experience, and Experience of a Lifetime include early decorating.
A Private 2,000-Acre Ranch
Diamond A Ranch offers 2,000 private acres of North Texas countryside for couples and their guests to enjoy.
Amenities around the Homestead yard include horseshoe pits, corn hole boards, a nine-hole putting green, swimming pool, outdoor kitchen, and fire pit. Pool access is limited to overnight guests. Pool heating is not included in any package, including Experience of a Lifetime. Pool heating costs $150 per day, with a two-day minimum, and requires one week’s notice. Select wedding packages also include access to the ranch’s fishing pond and shooting range.
Couples can also use the ranch’s 2,000 acres for engagement and bridal portraits. Portrait and engagement photo sessions require an appointment. The bride may use the bridal suite to get ready, including hair and makeup. Tuesdays and Wednesdays are our preferred days, and we’re happy to accommodate other requests whenever possible.
A Wedding Experience You Can Make Your Own
Each wedding space at Diamond A Ranch can be customized and decorated to fit a couple’s style.
Couples have the freedom to choose their own professional vendors, with the exception of bartending services, which must be selected from Diamond A Ranch’s approved providers. The venue can also provide a preferred vendor list upon request.
Diamond A Ranch sets up and takes down venue-owned tables and chairs included with the selected wedding package. Linen availability and setup vary by package. In-house coordination is also available.

The A Day to Remember package is a one-day venue rental designed for couples who don’t need onsite accommodations for their family or wedding party.
Couples receive use of the venue for up to 15 hours, with various outdoor ceremony locations and a reception in the Saloon.

Micro Wedding & Elopement Packages
Diamond A Ranch also offers six micro wedding and elopement packages for celebrations of up to 50 guests.
Micro weddings are available Monday through Thursday and select Fridays and Sundays. Remaining Friday, Saturday, and Sunday dates may be available within four months of the wedding.
Photography may be added to Sweetheart Ceremony, Cherished Circle, Little Big Celebration, Diamond Experience, and Overnight Diamond Experience beginning at $2,000. Signature Experience includes six hours of photography.
Sweetheart Ceremony — $3,000
An intimate elopement at the Homestead Yard for up to 15 guests with four hours for getting ready, photos, the ceremony, and reception.
The ceremony and reception take place in the Homestead Yard. Couples receive access to the Bridal Casita and Groom’s Suite, tables and chairs, white spandex linens, wooden arbor, two whiskey barrels, small signage, bridal bouquet, groom’s boutonniere, small naked bridal cake and cake utensils, background music, bartender, and officiant.

The Signature Experience is Diamond A Ranch’s all-inclusive micro wedding package for up to 50 guests, combining a Saloon wedding with two nights of onsite lodging for up to 20 guests. Early decorating is included.

For full-size weddings, Diamond A Ranch provides many of the rentals and amenities couples need for their celebration. Available inclusions include 250 natural wooden ceremony chairs with ivory pads, 250 natural wooden crossback reception chairs, 72-inch round tables, six- and eight-foot rectangular tables, cocktail tables, four wine barrels, a wooden arbor, cross, sweetheart table, and security officer when required.
Diamond A Ranch is outside-vendor friendly, although couples are required to use one of the venue’s approved bartending services. Couples supply their own alcohol.
Limited decor items include signage, aisle decor, and table items; inclusions vary by package. Diamond A Ranch also offers a $200 discount for military members, first responders, and teachers.

Yes. The Homestead House accommodates up to 18 overnight guests. Combined with the Bridal Casita, Diamond A Ranch offers on-site wedding lodging for up to 20 overnight guests.
An additional rental property, The Loop House, is located approximately 15 minutes from the venue and can accommodate up to 15 guests.
What is the Homestead Quarters?
The Homestead Quarters is Diamond A Ranch’s remodeled 1950s ranch-style home. The 6,000-square-foot property features six en-suite bedrooms, terra cotta floors, exposed brick, cedar beam ceilings, a fireplace, and seven bathrooms.
What ceremony locations are available at Diamond A Ranch?
Diamond A Ranch offers four wedding ceremony locations:
- Live Oak Grove: An outdoor ceremony setting beneath centuries-old oak trees.
- Stoneway: A private stone pathway ceremony setting that can accommodate up to 150 guests.
- Saloon Turf: A convenient outdoor ceremony location featuring turf that remains green throughout the year.
- Country Cathedral: An elegant indoor ceremony option that can also serve as a weather backup.
Does Diamond A Ranch have an indoor reception space?
Yes. Diamond A Ranch has an indoor reception space known as the Saloon. Features include a 1,500-square-foot covered patio, industrial garage doors, an indoor/outdoor bar, and a commercial kitchen with a walk-in cooler and 500-pound ice machine.
What happens if it rains on the wedding day?
Diamond A Ranch offers an indoor ceremony backup in the event of rain. Rain ceremonies are held indoors at the Saloon. Homestead Yard micro packages may also use the Saloon in bad weather, even though Saloon access is normally excluded. For weddings with more than 50 guests, 50+ guests can be seated ceremony-style while the remaining guests are seated at reception tables.
Does Diamond A Ranch offer micro weddings and elopements?
Yes. Diamond A Ranch offers six micro wedding and elopement packages for celebrations ranging from private elopements of up to 15 guests to micro weddings of up to 50 guests.
Micro wedding packages are available Monday through Thursday and select Fridays and Sundays. Remaining Friday, Saturday, and Sunday dates may be available within four months of the wedding.
Can couples use outside wedding vendors?
Yes. Diamond A Ranch allows couples to choose their own professional outside vendors. A preferred vendor list is available upon request.
Couples are required to use one of Diamond A Ranch’s approved bartending services.
Are event insurance and damage deposits required?
Event insurance and a damage deposit are required for every package. Damage deposits are refundable if there are no issues. The deposit is $500 for weddings with 30 guests or fewer and $1,500 for weddings with more than 30 guests.
Can couples bring their own alcohol?
Yes. Couples supply their own alcohol because Diamond A Ranch does not provide alcohol. All alcohol must be served by one of the venue’s approved bartending services, and cash bars are prohibited.
Does Diamond A Ranch provide security?
Security is required only when alcohol is served AND the event has more than 50 guests. Security is not required for events without alcohol, or for events with 50 guests or fewer—even when alcohol is served. Security is included in Diamond A Ranch wedding packages when required.
What tables and chairs does Diamond A Ranch provide?
Full-size wedding packages include 250 natural wooden ceremony chairs with ivory pads and 250 natural wooden crossback reception chairs, along with 72-inch round tables, six- and eight-foot rectangular tables, cocktail tables, four wine barrels, a wooden arbor, cross, and a sweetheart table. Inclusions for micro wedding packages are listed in their package descriptions.
Diamond A Ranch sets up and takes down venue-owned tables and chairs included with the selected wedding package. Linen availability and setup vary by package.
Does Diamond A Ranch offer wedding coordination?
Yes. In-house coordination is available for an additional fee. Select micro wedding packages also include a coordinator.
Can couples take engagement or bridal photos at Diamond A Ranch?
Yes. Couples can use the ranch’s 2,000 acres for engagement and bridal portraits. Portrait and engagement photo sessions require an appointment. The bride may use the bridal suite to get ready, including hair and makeup. Tuesdays and Wednesdays are our preferred days, and we’re happy to accommodate other requests whenever possible.
Is Diamond A Ranch pet friendly?
Dogs and other animals require prior approval. Approved animals are allowed in the ceremony and photos. During the reception, they must be crated or taken off the property.
Can guests fish or swim at Diamond A Ranch?
Pool access is limited to overnight guests. Pool heating is not included in any package, including Experience of a Lifetime. Pool heating costs $150 per day, with a two-day minimum, and requires one week’s notice. Diamond A Ranch also has a fishing pond, with fishing pond access included in select wedding packages.
What activities are available at Diamond A Ranch?
The Homestead yard includes horseshoe pits, corn hole boards, a nine-hole putting green, swimming pool, outdoor kitchen, and fire pit. Pool access is limited to overnight guests. Pool heating is not included in any package; it costs $150 per day, with a two-day minimum and one week’s notice.
The Experience of a Lifetime package includes two hours of shooting range access for up to 10 people, with clay pigeons for skeet shooting.
Can couples decorate the venue early?
Little Big Celebration, Overnight Diamond Experience, Signature Experience, and Experience of a Lifetime include early decorating. For one-day packages, early use may be available for an additional $1,000. This includes five hours total for early decorating, rehearsal time, and use of the venue for the rehearsal dinner. Additional early-use hours beyond the included five hours are $250 per hour.
What wedding decorations are prohibited?
Diamond A Ranch prohibits confetti, glitter, fake flower petals, nails, tape, and command strips.
Are sparklers allowed at Diamond A Ranch?
Yes. Sparklers are permitted as long as there is no fire ban. Cold sparklers are also permitted.
How late can wedding receptions go at Diamond A Ranch?
There is no noise ordinance. Last call at the bar is no later than 10:30 p.m., and the reception must end by 11:00 p.m. Guests and vendors must pack up and leave the property by midnight; approved guests staying in the onsite accommodations may remain overnight.
Can RVs or campers stay overnight at Diamond A Ranch?
No. Diamond A Ranch does not allow RVs, campers, vans, living quarters, or other vehicles to stay overnight. Only approved guests staying in the onsite accommodations may remain overnight, and after-parties are not permitted on the property.

The nearest hotel options are in Granbury. Options provided by Diamond A Ranch include Hilton Garden Inn on Lake Granbury, Best Western, Holiday Inn Express, and Hotel Lucy, which is the closest boutique hotel.

Does Diamond A Ranch host events besides weddings?
Yes. In addition to weddings, micro weddings, and elopements, Diamond A Ranch hosts corporate events and meetings, social parties, fundraisers, retreats, family reunions, overnight getaways, and other special events.
